Thanks for your interest in reserving your plate. This is a tangible way of showing your pride and support for creating the Virginia Beach International Surf Museum and locating it at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT: By pre-ordering your plate, you are accomplishing two things:
1) Showing the Commonwealth Dept. of Motor Vehicles that there’s sufficient support to create this new tag, and;
2) Helping to raise funds for VBISM – because we receive a portion of the cost of each plate ordered! (Thank you!)

Not every affinity plate is approved – so it’s VERY important get gain the target of 450 (minimum) orders.

Since the Virginia General Assembly has already met for 2022, we’ll try again to have the plate adopted during the 2023 assembly next winter.

NOTE: you have the option to permit VBISMF to hold onto your reservation until next year, return your reservation fee, or you may designate it as a donation to VBISMF.
